Adopt a Domestic Long Hair / Mixed (long coat)

Domestic Long Hair / Mixed (long coat) Cat

Mia the Cat needs a home

12 year old spayed "quiet queen" mix.

Mia came into ARF’s care as a senior and is looking for a quiet lap to call her own. At a tiny 6 pounds, she won’t take up much room but would be happy to keep your lap or feet warm for you day or night. Her beautiful long fur is deceiving, hiding a tiny body under there! She rewards pats and chin scratches with a lovely rumbling purr.

Mia would prefer to be the only animal in the home; she doesn’t have time for the busyness of other pets! Mia tolerates the resident 3 year old cat in her foster home but will grumble at him if she feels he’s in her space! She plays a little, but gently and on her own terms. She’d be happy with someone home regularly to curl up with, and is equally content to find a bed or blanket to sleep on while you are gone.

She uses the scratching posts regularly and handles her pedicures to keep her nails trimmed like a queen. She uses the litter box with no issues. Her long coat will need regular grooming to help her keep it tangle-free. Mia is a healthy girl, but she has been diagnosed as anemic and she is currently getting monthly Vitamin B shots. Mia has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for external parasites. To give her a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years, visit www.arfontario.com/project/mia.
